• Light up every square in the grid.
• A number in a square tells you how many bulbs surround that square, but not diagonally.
• A square is lit if it's in the same row or column as a bulb, as long as there are no black blocks between them.
• A bulb can't light another bulb.

Usage (if supported by your device)

• Left-click = Bulb › X › None
• Right-click = X › Bulb › None
• 'auto' = surround any 0 clues with crosses
  
  
• Any clue that has the correct number of bulbs and crosses surrounding it will be ticked, unless 'disable auto-tick' is ticked / checked (and you can then tick them manually). This doesn't necessarily mean that this is correct, just that the clue is currently satisfied.

Checking

• Once you have started the puzzle, if you click 'check' the system will check for incorrect squares.
• If 'show mistakes' is ticked / checked they will be marked in red.

Show Dots

• If you click 'show dots on lit squares' the system will show lit squares with the addition of a dot, which might make the lit squares easier to see.

Uniqueness

• This puzzle has exactly one correct answer.
• No guesses are ever required.
• Double-check alternative answers carefully, and then recheck the rules.
