Objective / Rules
- Complete the grid such that every row and column contains the numbers 1 to the size of the grid.
- Every row and column contains each number exactly once.
- A cage clue tells you the answer after the cage values have undergone the specified mathematical operation.
- The clues don't tell you which way round the numbers are, just the answer to the calculation.
- A number can appear more than once in a cage. Note: this is different to Killer Sudoku.

Notes
Keyboard Options
If you are using a device without a physical keyboard, the on-screen keyboard is numeric, and 0 = auto-pencil marks (which can be disabled). If you prefer to use the default, non-numeric keyboard, you can select the option below the puzzle, and 0 ≠ auto-pencil marks.
There is an option to add / remove characters. Entering the same character again will remove it (by removing all duplicates), and the contents are sorted.
Pencil Marks
What is a pencil mark? Pencil marks can help you keep track of your own thinking, simply enter more than one digit / letter into each square, just like you might do if you were using pen and paper. The size of the digits / letters is smaller when there is more than one digit / letter in a square. A square might contain more pencil mark digits / letters than can be shown.
Usage
Note: if supported by your device (and the cursor is in the grid).
a or 0 = auto-pencil marks (or click 'pencil').
CTRL + arrows = move around the grid.
SHIFT + number = highlight all squares with that number [SHIFT+0 to clear].
'squares with' highlights all squares with that number as a pencil mark.
Checking
Once you have started the puzzle, if you click 'check' the system will check for incorrect squares. If 'show mistakes when checking' is ticked / checked they will be marked in red. There are two types of error checked for:
• a single number that isn't the same as the answer
• multiple numbers that don't contain the answer number
Uniqueness
This puzzle has exactly one correct answer, which can be found using logical reasoning (i.e. no guesses are required). If you think that you have found another answer, then check it carefully, and then check the rules for a reason why it isn't allowed.
