What is significant about this paragraph:

I once found two tiny ferrets, tired, looking sorry for themselves, covered in dirt. I decided to help the poor critters by putting them in the town zoo's 'ferret rinsing box', then rinsing them off using some tinctured liquid. They soon seemed much more pristine, much brighter, much more cheerful. Within two weeks I set them free, returned into the wild, they seemed very delighted with this. I, of course, enjoyed it very much.
