Puzzle 821

BungalowsLogic Puzzles

There are four bungalows in our cul-de-sac. They are made from these materials: straw, wood, brick, and glass.

Mrs Scott's bungalow is somewhere to the left of the wooden one, and the third one along from the left is brick.

Mrs Umbrella owns a straw bungalow, and Mr Tidsley does not live at either end but lives somewhere to the right of the glass bungalow.

Mr Wilshaw lives in the fourth bungalow, while the first bungalow is not made from straw.

Who lives where, and what is their bungalow made from?

Puzzle 822

In Farmer Stone's hay loft, there were several animals, in particular birds, mice, and cockroaches.

One day, feeling bored, I decided to count the animals. I found there were exactly 150 feet and 50 heads in total, and there were twice as many cockroaches as mice.

How many of each animal were there?

Puzzle 824

I recently asked my friend Alex to buy me some ribbon for my child's bonnet.

Alex went to the haberdashery shop for the required length, but accidentally swapped the feet and inches.

When I measured the resulting ribbon, I only had 5/8 of the length I required.

How much ribbon did I originally ask for?

Remember that there are 12 inches in a foot.
