KakurasuNotes

  • Objective / Rules
    - Find all of the Blue squares such that all of the totals match the clues.
    - The clues are on the right and across the bottom and are the totals for the respective rows and columns.
    - The numbers across the top and on the left are the values for each of the squares.
    - E.g. the first square in a row or column is worth 1, the second 2, the third 3, and so on.
    - Marking a square in Blue will add that square's value to both the row's total and the column's total.

  • Help
Read the help/walkthrough page on Kakurasu puzzles for a more detailed explanation and a walkthrough.

  • Mouse Usage
    Left-click = Blank >> Blue >> White >> Blank.
    Right-click = Blank >> White >> Blue >> Blank.

  • Checking
If you click 'Check' the system will check for incorrect squares. If 'Show mistakes when checking' is checked they will be marked in red. If 'Highlight clues' is checked any clue where the count is correct will be ticked - this does not mean that the answer is correct.

  • Uniqueness
Each puzzle has exactly one solution, which can be found using logic alone and no guesses are ever required. If you think you've found another solution, then please double check the rules.
