Show ticks on rows/columns
Show mistakes when checking

  • Objective / Rules
    - Find all of the hidden ships.
    - The numbers across the top and down the side tell you how many ship pieces are in the respective row/column.
    - The small ships across the top tell you which ships are hidden in the grid.
    - A ship can only be found horizontally or vertically.
    - Ships are never adjacent to each other, neither vertically, horizontally, nor diagonally.

  • Help
Read the help/walkthrough page on Battleships for a more detailed explanation and a walkthrough.

  • Key
     Ship - Unknown
     Ship - Size 1
     Ship - Top
     Ship - Bottom
     Ship - Left
     Ship - Right
     Ship - Middle

  • Mouse Usage
    Left-click = Blank >> Water >> Ship >> Blank.
    Right-click = Blank >> Ship >> Water >> Blank.

If the option is ticked, the system will tick a row/column when the correct number of ships pieces are in that row/column - this doesn't mean that they are correct. A grey tick means all of the squares in that row/column have been set.

  • Checking
If you click 'Check' the system will check for incorrect squares. If 'Show mistakes when checking' is checked they will be marked in red.

  • Uniqueness
Each puzzle has exactly one solution, which can be found using logic alone and no guesses are ever required. If you think you've found another solution, then please double check the rules. If you still think you've found another solution, then please email us and we'll try to help.
