A cricketer's average in his first 20 innings was 15 runs per innings.
After a further 10 innings, his average had increased to 17 runs per innings.
What was his average for the last 10 innings?
[Ref: ZGTM]
21 runs per innings.
In the first 20 innings the total runs was 20 x 15 = 300 runs.
After 30 innings the total runs was 30 x 17 = 510 runs = a difference of 210 runs.
Therefore the final 10 innings had an average of 210 ÷ 10 = 21. QED.
