Frames introduced and site totally overhauled. Speed was the major factor, each page was optimised for swift downloading. Serious effort was made to get into search engines. By late 1998 the site was listed in the top 10 of 7 major search engines. There were in excess of 300 puzzles now on-line. August 1998 The grading of the puzzles was implemented. September 1998 The site was 1 year old this month. October 1998 The free space provided by Cable and Wireless was rapidly approaching its daily user capacity. Made the decision to relocate and as the domain www.puzzles4u.com was already in use so it was decided to rename the site to BrainBashers [www.internet-uk.com/puzzles]. The site was now hosted by Demon Internet as a commercial Internet site. Full CGI scripting was now introduced. This allowed a vast improvement to the guest book. This also meant that the hard work to get the old site listed in the search engines would have to be done again. The site was now linked to from at least 11 other sites. December 1998 Question Of The Week was introduced and became an instant success with the users.
